We spend a lot of time and energy creating a high quality, curated index. There are many types of content, and we're constantly discovering new things to search for as well. If there's anything you want to be more highly covered, just reach out to [email protected]. This is an attempt at an enumeration:
Metaphor has a wide index of companies. (We also have a specific companies dataset - if you're interested, email [email protected])
Semantic search over papers is super powerful, and we have a vast index.
At Metaphor, we personally use a lot of open source code we found using Metaphor.
It's extremely hard/impossible to find personal pages on Google these days. Metaphor lets you do it quite robustly.
We live index most popular news sites. If there's a site you want and is missing, reach out to [email protected].
Set a date filter as well, if needed.
We cover all of Wikipedia.
We have reasonable coverage of events in major municipalities.
Date filter: last month
We excel at finding high quality reading material.
(The answer here is Metaphor of course, please join us)
Hospitals, schools, restaurants, appliances, electronics, you name it.
This isn't even close to everything we have. One thing we've realized is that Google has actually limited people's imaginations when it comes to what you can find on the Internet, and we're still expanding our conceptions ourselves.
